AutoNode Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AutoNode ("the App"), developed and operated by Individual Entrepreneur A17 STUDIO ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. Contact: autonode.support@gmail.com.

1. What AutoNode is

AutoNode is a personal vehicle maintenance, fuel, and expense log. It is not a diagnostic tool, does not connect to your vehicle's onboard systems, and does not verify or guarantee the accuracy of any data you or the App's reference tables (fuel types, service intervals, техосмотр rules) provide. You are responsible for verifying dates, intervals, and requirements (e.g., legally mandated inspection schedules) against official sources before relying on them.

2. Your account and data

AutoNode has no user accounts. All data you enter is stored locally on your device and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud or Google Drive. You are responsible for keeping your device and cloud accounts secure, and for backing up your data — we cannot recover data you don't back up yourself.

3. Subscriptions (AutoNode Pro)

• AutoNode Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual, priced as shown in the App at time of purchase) sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Play Store app → Menu → Subscriptions) account settings — not through the App or us directly.
• Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. A free trial is available once per Apple ID or Google account.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies; we do not process refunds directly.
• If your subscription lapses, vehicles beyond your first (default) vehicle become read-only in the App until you resubscribe — no data is deleted.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or tamper with the App beyond what applicable law permits, use the App for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to any service the App connects to (RevenueCat, Sentry, PostHog, Apple/Google services).

5. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its content (excluding data you enter) are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your own devices for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any computed figure (consumption, cost projections, reminder due dates, resale/history documents) is accurate or complete — always verify anything that matters against primary sources.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including data loss, missed maintenance, or reliance on any figure or reminder the App computes or displays. Our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete it at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the App (or any feature) with reasonable notice where feasible, including via the App's release notes or store listing.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and note it in the App's release notes. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
